Location

Location collection on a fully managed Android device through the Aitera corporate DPC.

Parameter	Purpose and values	Verification and dependencies
Platform and type	Android, fully managed COBO device with the Aitera DPC.	A work profile or Google Android Enterprise must not be assumed to be compatible with this template automatically.
System permissions	The corporate DPC receives the required system permissions in a supported mode.	Check the actual permission and the enabled location source on the device.
Frequency	The interface specifies collection no more often than once every 15 minutes.	Do not expect continuous tracking; check the time of the last coordinate.

Limitations and dependencies

A coordinate may be outdated. Loss of connectivity or disabled geolocation does not mean the device is outside a geofence. Displaying the map requires a maps integration.

Creation and assignment

Create a configuration, fill in the parameters and run the preliminary check. After saving, assign recipients. Start with one test device.

Verifying application

In the device card, check the assignment and the latest contact. In client events, find the processing result, then check the feature itself on the device. If the feature has not changed, check the management channel, platform, delivery and compatibility.
