Apple. Corporate network connection profile with the parameters of the selected VPN client.

All parameters

Parameter	Purpose and values	Verification and dependencies
Connection name	Displayed name of the VPN connection.	Check that the name is recognizable in the device settings.
Identifier	Identifier of the VPN client or profile required by your implementation.	Ask the VPN owner; an arbitrary string does not prove the client is present.
Server	VPN gateway address.	Check DNS, gateway availability and trust in its certificate.
Username	Account of the selected VPN service.	Do not set a shared account for all users without an agreed access scheme.
Additional parameters: key	Vendor-specific parameter name.	Use only keys from the documentation of your specific client.
Additional parameters: value	Value of the corresponding key.	Check that the client accepts the setting; saving an arbitrary key in MDM does not prove it is supported.

Limitations and dependencies

Prepare the gateway and a compatible client separately. The VPN connection and access to the required corporate resource are checked separately.

Creation and assignment

Create a configuration, fill in the parameters and run the preliminary check. After saving, assign recipients. Start with one test device.

Verifying application

In the device card, check the assignment and the latest contact. In client events, find the processing result, then check the feature itself on the device. If the feature has not changed, check the management channel, platform, delivery and compatibility.
